My name is Tania Rush and I am happy you have stopped by my little spot on the internet. Music has always had a special place in my life. My journey began at a young age singing at church and starting piano lessons at the age of six. I began playing the flute in fifth grade, sang in multiple choirs and continued playing the piano in the Suzuki method. I studied piano at the collegiate level for two years and have continued playing and taking lessons.
I have been teaching piano for 10+ years and love getting to know each one of my students. I aim to teach in a student focused way. That means that while I have goals for what I want to teach students I tailor those goals to the individual. I love to hear what my students interests and goals are and aim to include those in my plans.
I am now a mother of 5 and love sharing my love of music with others. My desire is to create a welcoming and joyful experience in every lesson that I have with a student.
